Lamenting is something we see throughout Scriptures. Yet, it isn’t something we see in our corporate worship very often. Why should we lament? We know the end of the story! But celebration is so much sweeter when we spend time meditating on Christ’s death; His sacrifice on our behalf. This Easter season, we have designed a Passion Week journey. The celebration is far sweeter when you have taken time to lament.

Passion Week Schedule

Palm Sunday

April 14 // 9 & 10:30 AM

Scripture tells us the story of Jesus entering Jerusalem with many declaring that he was the promised Messiah. Less than one week later he was being crucified. We are celebrating what we know to be true. Jesus is the promised Messiah, King of kings and Lord of lords.

The Table

April 18 // 6 PM

Holy Thursday is the tradition that remembers the Last Supper. This is the Passover meal that Jesus shared with his disciples the night that he was betrayed. Jesus washed their feet. They ate. They celebrated. They heard more of Jesus' teaching. They enjoyed fellowship together. We are hosting a Love Feast carry-in of our own where we will eat together, sing together, celebrate together and take communion as we remember.

The Cross

April 19 // 7 PM

Good Friday is the day that Jesus was crucified. After a grueling night of false accusations, trials and beatings, Jesus is put to death. We are hosting an Encounter Service as we lament this scandalous night.

The Tomb

April 21 // 9 & 10:30 AM

Resurrection Sunday the women found that the stone was rolled away. Jesus was no longer in the grave. He had risen just as he said. Easter Sunday morning we are celebrating that our Savior is the Risen King. He has conquered death and the grave!

Passion Week Podcast

Last year we created a series of episodes that walked you through Jesus' life during Passion Week. These were designed as a resource to help you focus in on the days leading up to to the crucifixion and the hours that followed.
