Children's Ministry
Our desire is for children to grow like Jesus - in height, in wisdom, and in love for God and others.
NURSERY
Loving and Christ-centered care available for infants and toddlers at both 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services, as well as Sunday PM.
9:00 A.M. BABY BIBLE CLASS
Designed to lay an early Christ-centered foundation in the hearts of God's tiniest tots. This is a very hands-on experience,
introducing Bible basics through music and story.
PRESCHOOL
Wiggles and giggles and music and friends are all a part of Sunday mornings as we learn about
God and the relationship He wants to have with us. 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. include singing, a lesson,
and plenty of activities to help preschoolers engage in Bible stories and enjoy the morning.
Using Orange First Look curriculum, we want kids to understand these basic truths:
- God made me
- God loves me
- Jesus wants to be my forever friend
ELEMENTARY
Creating environments that kids can't get enough of is what we strive for with Elementary age kids.
We think that every child should be able to have a great time and leave with a valuable life lesson each week.
Using 252 Basics curriculum from Orange, we want kids to understand three basic truths before they move on to Middle School:
- FAITH - I can trust God no matter what
- WISDOM - I need to make the wise choice
- FRIENDSHIP - I should treat others the way I want to be treated
9:00 A.M.
Kids will join in games, activities, and a lesson each Sunday with consistent small group leaders.
The groups are divided by grade level, and the group leaders stay with their group all year.
It's an excellent way for kids to build healthy relationships with other kids and adults while learning valuable truths.
10:30 A.M.
This service is geared just for K-5th graders with a large group Bible lesson, scripture, singing, and prayer.
After a lesson time and a couple of songs, 4th and 5th graders go to their small groups to discuss how to do
something with what they have learned. Kindergarten through 3rd graders sing a couple more songs and continue
their discussion in the Connection Zone.
SUNDAY KIDS' PM
Sunday Kids' PM programming runs from September through April each year from 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
These Sunday evenings we invite children to join in the fun and learning! Check-in is inside door 15 in the Children's Ministry Lobby.
If it's your first time, there is a check-in window where you can register and ask questions.
Nursery care is available for kids up to 2 years old.
PRESCHOOL
(3-5 YEARS OLD)
Children connect to the Bible and God’s love through music, lesson, small group time, and play!
ELEMENTARY
(KINDERGARTEN - 5th GRADE)
Sonlight Club
Children in these grades are challenged to “Be a light for Jesus” in their everyday lives.
Large group includes fun, relevant music and a lesson from God’s word. The evening ends in small group with snacks,
prayer, scripture memorization, and a challenge to apply the Bible to everyday life.
Girls of Grace
Girls connect to God and others through small groups, lessons, and special activities like crafts,
gym time, and worship. Loving emphasis is placed on what it means to mature as a young female in the Lord
and to grow in His grace and beauty.
Guys for God
Boys connect to God through worship and learning more about the Bible and how to apply it to their lives at home,
school, and everywhere they go. They connect to others through games, small group discussions, and prayer.
Emphasis is placed on training young males as they grow to be mighty men of God.
